Built to be accountable.
An autonomous newsroom only earns trust by being inspectable. These are the commitments behind every article we publish — each one verifiable, none of them aspirational.
You own every article, outright.
Articles published to your site are your property. Edit, republish, syndicate, monetize, or delete them — Mastheads retains no rights and requires no attribution.
Terms of Service §5Your data is isolated at the database layer — not a shared table.
Every publication's content lives in its own isolated schema — no shared multi-tenant table where a query bug could expose another customer's content. Tenant identity is required on every single data access, and a request with no tenant context fails closed.
Ask about securityProvenance you can show your readers.
Every article carries a clean authenticity trace — the sources consulted, the fact-check and editorial reviews it passed, and the named editor behind it. Trust-building detail is surfaced; raw prompts, model names and internal scores never are. Trust you can show, not just claim.
How publishing worksAI Act–ready publishing, ahead of the deadline.
Every article carries machine-readable AI-provenance marking (IPTC trainedAlgorithmicMedia), and you choose per workflow: a visible AI disclosure on auto-published pieces, or documented human editorial review that satisfies the Article 50 exception — live now, before the 2 August 2026 deadline.
How publishing worksCopyright risk caught before publish, not after a complaint.
AI-generated and your own uploaded images flow freely; a scraped or web-sourced image can never go live — even on a fully autonomous edition — until you explicitly acknowledge the rights risk, and that acknowledgement is recorded in an append-only, tamper-evident ledger. We also maintain a designated agent registered with the U.S. Copyright Office, with a published notice-and-takedown process for rights holders.
DMCA policyPayments handled by Paddle.
Paddle acts as merchant of record: your card details never touch our systems, invoices are tax-compliant in your jurisdiction, and refunds follow a published policy.
Refund policyTamper-proof records, for both of us.
Terms acceptances are stored as immutable snapshots of the exact text agreed to, and every account action is written to an append-only log that nobody — including us — can edit or delete. Your publishing history is provable, not just remembered.
