Terms of Service

1. Plain-English summary

• You pay €19 for the first week. On day 8 you are auto-billed your selected tier (€99, €249, or €599 per month). Cancel any time.
• You own every article we publish to your WordPress. We do not retain rights. No attribution back to us required.
• We do not bypass paywalls, robots.txt, or rate limits on any source.
• We do not publish prohibited content (see §6). The engine filters these out before publication.
• You must keep your WordPress credentials current. If your site goes down or your password rotates, we suspend article generation until you reconnect.

2. The service

Mastheads provides an autonomous content publishing pipeline. The service ingests topic signals, drafts articles, validates them, and publishes them to your connected WordPress installation. Quota, tier, and features depend on your subscription.

3. Account, billing, cancellation

Accounts are individual. Sharing credentials is not permitted. Billing is processed by Stripe. The €19 first-week pilot is non-refundable. After day 8, monthly billing renews automatically. You may cancel from your dashboard at any time; service continues through the end of the current period.

4. Customer obligations

You agree to:

• Provide a valid WordPress URL and Application Password.
• Name a real editor of record (your responsibility under EU AI Act Article 50).
• Maintain the legal right to publish content into your site (ownership, hosting authorization, etc.).
• Not use the service for prohibited content (see §6) or to defraud, defame, or harm any person or entity.

5. Ownership of content

Articles published into your WordPress are your property outright. You may edit, republish, syndicate, monetize, or delete them as you see fit. Mastheads retains no rights in your published articles.

6. Prohibited content

The Mastheads engine will not knowingly produce content that falls into the following categories, and we may suspend accounts that attempt to bypass these limits:

• Sexually explicit material, including any involving minors.
• Hate speech, harassment, or incitement to violence.
• Illegal drugs, weapons trafficking, terrorism content.
• Medical, legal, or financial advice presented as professional guidance.
• Election misinformation or coordinated political deception.
• Defamation of identifiable individuals.
• Content that infringes a third party's copyright or trademark.

7. Quality, availability, and limits

We make a good-faith effort to publish high-quality, fact-checked articles. We do not warrant that every article is free of error. Service is offered "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted availability. We aim for 99.5% uptime on article generation and publication.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms. On termination, article generation stops at the end of the current billing period, and your data is retained for thirty days for possible reactivation, after which it is permanently deleted.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, where Mastheads is organized. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore.
