Introduction

Mastheads runs nine editorial desks for your publication. Ask for an article - a topic, a list, a structure, a URL, your own brief - and the newsroom writes it under a real named byline, checks it against the sources it gathered, illustrates it, and hands it to you to publish or export.

There is also an autonomous mode: brief a newsroom once - your topics, your voice, where to publish - and it finds the stories worth covering and produces them on your schedule. You set one up from your own web address, and you switch it on yourself.

How an article gets made

Every article moves through the same staged newsroom: discovery finds a story worth covering in your sections, sourcing collects and vets the material behind it, a writer drafts it in your voice, independent quality gates cross-check the claims against the sources, a cover image is drawn for it, and the finished piece is published to your CMS or handed to you as a draft. What each check found is recorded on the article, failures included - nothing ships silently. The full pass is on How an article happens.

You stay in control

Review is the default. New editions start in review mode, drafts only, so articles arrive for your approval; auto-publish is something you turn on yourself, per domain. Every article carries an authenticity trace - the sources it used, the checks it passed, the editor of record.
